Island Dreaming

I just got back from a nice weekend at the shore and hanging out on the beach with family and friends! I had initially planned to get some work done while down there but it turned out that my internet connection was not working correctly and I was unable to get any posts up, so sorry about that.
Generally when I spend a few days at the beach I come home feeling lazy and unmotivated because I am still stuck in relaxation mode and just want to keep bumming it on the beach all day. This time was a tad different though, it reminded me of how much I enjoy hanging out, relaxing and spending time with family and friends. And what better way to do that than be worry free about business and economic restraints (ha wouldn’t that be nice). Thinking about how much I would love to just stay at the beach and hang out actually motivated me to get home, work hard and continue to build a business online. Think about it this way; the harder you work now the less you will have to work later. I think the goal of anyone who starts their own business is ease of mind along with financial freedom. It is important to work hard and realize that sooner, rather than later it will pay off and you will have more time for yourself. Sometimes brief and even unexpected vacations are good because not only do they recharge our batteries but they also allow us to be reminded of how much we enjoy our personal time and why we are working so hard to have more of it. So if you have the opportunity anytime in the near future be sure to kick back, relax, and spend some time with good friends even if it is just in the backyard!
